Perfect, easy AC electric replacement, Basically the same size inside, but shorter and wider on the outside unit. Accomodations for the larger wires need considerations, but overall, a direct replacement. Not as cold as the AC electric one in the hottest part of the day, but still cools down the large promaster van very well, even at 92 degrees outside while set at ECO 79 degrees inside, is still enough to cool it down quickly, quietly and at only 300watt consistent draw! Oscillating vents and remote control are a handy additions well! If not enough solar or DC to DC charging available, we now can charge the on board batteries, run the freezer fridge, full surround sound TV, Wi-Fi, modem, lighting and the DC air conditioner, all from a 2000watt Genny in ECO mode at only 49db! Almost priceless for over the road traveling!

Dude, I just swapped out that loud, energy-hogging 110V AC in our RV with this 12V Countrymod one, and we're stoked! It's super quiet and only uses like 300W in eco mode, so we can run it at night and in the campground with our lithium batteries. The controller came upside down, so the remote wouldn't work. But after I hit up customer support (Jacob), he got the factory to help, and they figured out the touchscreen was glued on wrong. Got a new controller in a few days. Seriously, best customer service ever - thanks!

Got my CountryMod 12v 10,000 btu AC installed today and initial testing showed great results. It is quiet and doesn’t draw a bunch of power.
